Bali Ultra Trail 80K is a 50-miler challenging ultra-distance race along the Batur UNESCO Global Geopark, Kintamani. Runners start in the dark on Saturday morning and will run for 24 hours maximum – finishing on Saturday evening or until Sunday morning. The course features two peaks (Mount Abang and Mount Batur), seashore, old village, bush, forests, farmland, crater ridge and volcanic areas. Normal temperature is hot and humid by day and cold and breezy by night.

Scenic highlight

Start line at the Batur museum, ascend the peak of Mount Abang, run through Terunyan village, sunrise point at Batu Madeg, descend to the beach and return to the ridge crater, climb Mount Batur, run down the Batur caldera, run into black lava, finish at the Resto Apung in Kintamani.
